There are several rumours going on that Jim Carrey is going to incarnate Silas, the albinos Monk in the adaptation of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. From which I think it's a great casting. Jim Carrey does have that sparkle of madness in his eyes. I'm sure he'll scare the living shit out of a lot of people. Some people are complaining about overcasting, but I think this is a good choice. Let's hope he'll achieve the level of performance he had in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Update: Apparently, Paul Bettany (Wimbledon, Dogville) is getting the role. They wanted a European type... bummer
